I wonder what my life would be like if I had not had a lot of help from God covering my back over the years. What would yours be like? Maybe your big ego wants to think that you have made your life what it is all by yourself. My ego won’t allow me to think that way because I remember what I made my life into. I remember when it all changed, too.

This thing going on between God and me has never been casual. There have been events in my life that I can only describe as “Divine Intervention.” If you have ever had a divine encounter, well then, you know what I am talking about. You just don’t walk away the same.

I guess it is possible to ignore, run away from or pretend there is no God and miss a divine moment, but why would anyone want to? Nope, I believe in them and hope to have a lot more of them. Call me crazy, but I think that the people who love God have a shield of protection around them. I can’t prove it but I know it has sure been there in my life.

When things haven’t gone my way, I think how much worse it could have been if I had to walk it out alone. And when things look pretty good, I always ask God to get involved too and make the good even better.

Someday we will know that we were never alone. How much better will your life be if you know it now? Wake up a little today and make the most of a divine moment that might be shining down on you right this very moment.
