Revival in Families

Have you ever wondered why some children grow up and become just like their parents? They can sound, act, and even have some of the same habits. Statistics say most children repeat the lifestyle example of their parents in some way. For instance, happy and contented children who are musical probably grew up in a happy and contented home that had a lot of music in it.

Becoming just like Mom or Dad happens without the child realizing it and sometimes not even wanting negative patterns to be formed. Unfortunately, repeated destructive attitudes and activities can create bad consequences in the life of a child. Alcoholism, drug abuse, divorce, financial problems, violence, anger, and much more cause many families to be dysfunctional.

God intends for us to be able to live free from all of this. Yet, many people including Christians struggle with these things causing them and their children to be unstable and unhappy.

This week, I want to share with you:

· How to break harmful patterns in your family
· Parenting – Leading your family and earning their respect
· Children – Helping your child develop an appetite for God

Having a better understanding of these areas can create a better life for you and your children. Revival is not something that should just affect individuals it should be impacting families. God wants to create stable and happy families who are free of destruction and living in His fullness. God is for you and your family!
