Revival is restoring people’s faith in God’s original plan. He’s promised provision, protection and power for his people. It was his first plan, and it’s still his only plan.

In the garden, God gave everything to man. “Take it – rule it. It’s yours.” Nothing has changed since then – except how we lay hold of it. What was once given to us, we now access by faith in His name. We have been redeemed from the curse!

Need some convincing? Let’s say you have a house and all of a sudden you’ve got leaky pipes. Water’s coming in through the wall and ruining the carpets and the furniture and everything. Was that the builder’s original plan?

I don’t think so. I don’t think the architect ever said, “Hey – let’s do something funky and let water run through this wall so it will flood this guy out.”

Yet, some people have that kind of mentality when it comes to God’s plan for their lives. They lack, and they figure that’s just the way it is. Their kids are forever sick, and they live with it. They seem powerless to live a victorious life, and they settle in for defeat.

Kind of like living with leaky pipes.

My suggestion is to pull out the original blueprint. Take a look at what the Builder intended…

Provision. Protection. Power. If you don’t believe it’s God’s plan for you, you’ll never fight for it.

My advice: Don’t settle for leaky pipes. Kick in your faith and believe for better.
