Yep, that was my admonition to our graduates this past Sunday. Live a life like Paul… preach the word, keep your head, run the course and FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!

Imagine the timeline laid before high school grads. Most will have the opportunity to vote in this year’s presidential election. By the time you vote in the next election, you’ll probably have your life locked in – whether good or bad.

These next several years are going to be the years that determine the course of your entire life. If you walk a steady line with God, you’ll do well.

It’s going to be tough sometimes and there will be challenges, but if you decide today that you are never going to change your mind about God, you will survive these next years and come out ahead of others who waver.

It may be a fight to get to the future God has for you, but you can do all things in Christ. If you’re anything like me, you won’t sit around waiting for a future to happen.

You’re going to pick a fight. You’re going to conquer everything that stands in your way or tests your faith. You’re going to GO AFTER all God has for you!

Your future can be bright if you’ll stay true to God. Run the race, fight the fight and enter into this next season strong.
