Families of Revival - Conclusion

The past couple of weeks, I have shared with you a lot of information about raising a family. Some of you may even be thinking of how many mistakes you have made as parents or how you have tried some of these things and they didn’t work right away. Don’t be discouraged! I have made a lot of mistakes and so will you. The biggest thing I had to do was be honest about what was working with my family and what wasn’t. I was willing to change what wasn’t working! Realistically, I could have given up on Kathy when things got difficult in our marriage or give in to thinking she would never change. But, she did change and is having a huge impact in the lives of many people.

Revival is powerful because it really can help strengthen and connect families to the Lord and to each other. I am so thankful whenever I hear of testimonies from families being healed and changed. Even extended families are being sent to our revival services having their relationships restored, their kids being awakened to the presence and power of God, and they get free from dead powerless religion. God is for people who stick with each other and He is for connecting families while making them healthy and whole in every way. It takes work and may require some change. But, as you work on these principles with your spouse and kids, you will discover what it is really about to have a "family in revival."
