Kathy and I are rushing around getting ready to fly out to Canada today. We are returning to minister at a church that we have been to several times before. We will do four services in three days. One of the services we will be ministering mostly to what they call the natives. I assume they are like our Native Americans here, but I don’t know if they are called Native Canadians. I wonder if it is politically incorrect to call them Eskimos? Probably not a good idea.
This might sound strange, but even though we fly in a few hours, I still have no idea what I will say when I get there. I think I will have to take their spiritual temperature when I get to town. I hope we do the people a lot of good and see a lot of lives changed forever.
Anyway, it is time to pack up the laptop and head out. I wouldn’t mind getting to upgrade to first class. It usually only costs about $50 more and it sure saves a lot of wear and tear on me before I have to preach four times. I think the seats are all taken though, but I was told they might have some on the way back. Flying used to be fun. Now it is like a full days work with a lay over in Minneapolis. I guess if you compare it to riding a Burro for eight hours like they did in Jesus day, it is still a luxury. Talk when I get back.
