What is True Revival?

It is becoming more clear to me everyday, that America's religious are desiring revival. The problem is getting people to agree what a true revival is. Everybody seems to have their own definition based on some book they have read or what their denomination says it is. I just got through reading a few religious blogs. I typed in the word revival and each one talked about revival based on what they already were experiencing. I think they were saying that revival to them would be more of what they are doing but on a much grander scale.

Full Blown Services on Saturday Night

Wow, right now I am going in so many directions, but everyone of them has the potential to produce great fruit. The services at World Revival Church have exploded with the presence and glory of God. You can feel it as you enter the room. I hope it gets so strong that people can feel it the second they drive onto the property. Because of that we are adding full blown Saturday night services. I want to make it more worthwhile for people from out of town to come and get four powerful services before they go home.

So Much To Tell

There is so much to tell. Where do I start? The new cast for the Steve and Kathy show met for the first time last night. Everyone is excited to make the new show work. We mostly brainstormed looking for new ideas at least for the next four shows. Even I don't know how they will turn out. I guess we will learn together.

Relief Being Sent to Burma

Emergency money for Burma is still coming in. If you haven't helped yet, go to steveandkathygray.com/burma and give something to help the thousands of homeless dying people. Many are in despair just barely hanging on for life. We are sending money, buying 2 boats to get help to the people and sending solar powered water purification systems. Each system can produce enough water for 5000 people a day. One system is only $500. We are working to send twenty systems by next week. How many will have fresh water everyday?

The Tragedy in Burma - Will You Help ?

Hello friends,

Our hearts are still breaking for the people of Burma and especially for the Karen tribe. We along with Kathy's parents Bob and Jeanne Moffatt have supported this tribe for many years. We have not only supported them financially, but have helped to send the Moffatt's many times to minister directly to the Karen tribe. A few years back we sent a team to build a church for these wonderful people. In case you don't know who the Karen people are, let me refer to a just released movie on DVD...

Burma Relief Going Well

I am happy to report that our relief effort to Burma is going pretty well. Unfortunately, I think people get de-sensitized by so much news of so many disasters. I watched FOX news as they reported on Burma and the very next story was the terrible quake in China. I think some people just block it all out and stop responding to the many cries for help coming from around the world.

TV Ads for Burma and Casting KC

Well I spent a big chunk of the day making TV ads for Casting KC. We are hoping we can afford to put Casting KC ads on TV so everyone can know that we are expanding the Steve and Kathy Show to include some of the best talent in KC. I know it is a good idea, but still, what if we don't find any real talented people. Oh well, can't even think about that now.

Reverends in the Headlines

The only thing I can get on the news channels today is news about one presidential candidate and his ex-pastor. It's not unusual for reverends to be in the headlines. Really, it's kind of cool to see just how "newsy" ministers have become. I don't know if you caught it or not, but one famous female evangelist was the star of divorce court for two days last week. We certainly are making noise these days. Wouldn't it be great to have a reverend in the news for more than politics or tabloid gossip. I don't think it is wrong for our religious leaders to be involved in politics.

Is America ready for a faith-based network program? Do you believe that NBC, FOX or HBO would air a faith-based program? The answer is simple. All of the networks know that today's Christian has money and will spend it on good entertainment with a spiritual twist. The answer is a big yes. This creates two problems. The first of course is, someone has to come up with the program. The New Steve and Kathy Show is working to become that program. Interest is high in Hollywood, but the hurdles are even higher. That is why we are expanding our cast to include some of Kansas City's greatest talent.
