Finding Favor

I am trying to process all that is going on here with all of the ministries I am involved in. Fortunately, it is all good. Daystar Television network is continuing to air "live" revival services every Friday night through January and also the first Friday in February when Marcus, Joni, and the Daystar singers will all be in service with us. Also coming up this month is the big TV convention in Las Vegas where producers search for the up and coming new TV shows. The Steve and Kathy show will be right there front and center. Is it the most wonderful time of the year?

Well, of course it is, but so is every other time of the year, at least for me. Today we may celebrate that Jesus is born but the rest of the year I celebrate that Jesus is Lord. When Jesus is Lord, the entire year is wonderful.

Revival Services

All of us here have revival on our minds as we continue to get reports on the live broadcast from the Daystar Network last Friday night. One Daystar employee called the program "addictive" and said she can't wait to see what happens this Friday night. I can't wait to see for myself because I really never know exactly what the services will be like. There are so many variables to take into consideration.

Revival Begins with God's People

I have spent most all of my time as a minister trying to bring revival to God’s people. This Friday night, December 5, 2008 will be a night of increase for that message. The Daystar Television Network will be airing 90 minutes of the revival service from World Revival Church “live” across this nation and around the world. It will be re-broadcast again at 12:00 midnight. They have also requested the tapes from the Thursday, Saturday and Sunday morning services.

I hope you all are having a happy holiday weekend with family and friends. We tried to have a quiet Thanksgiving day but it was virtually impossible. God’s kingdom doesn’t take a holiday. Well, I just finished a radio interview out of Detroit. I think I did average. Here is the reason why, at least I think. I have been so successful with the non-religious world by not coming across as a know-it-all fire breathing preacher, that I forgot that this Christian program wants a ranting pastor.

Taxes and Terrorism

Well, the election is over and I am not sure what kind of leader our new president will be, but there is one thing I do know for sure, he is a celebrity. In fact, it is clear that he is more of a celebrity than a politician. Change is the new word. I only wish that American’s would call for as much change in religion as they have in politics. That “old time religion” has a much greater grip on society than any of our politicians or political parties.

British Documentary on Hold

In my last blog I shared with you about a British network wanting to do a documentary about the power of God that is happening at World Revival Church and the House of Hope and Healing. I can honestly say that spending some time with their two representatives was really wonderful. However, after they left we began to have some concerns about the host of the documentary and just exactly how it would turn out. Next we got a whole stack of contracts to sign.
