Summer Blogs - Guest Blogger

Submitted by Steve Gray on Fri, 06/26/2009 - 5:26pm.

I wrote a special blog for Father’s Day and with everything going on at World Revival Church and Steve Gray Ministries this summer, I thought I would write a few more to give Pastor Steve time to concentrate his efforts into other areas of ministry. So my summer blog topic will be, “Things my father taught me”.

A Special Guest Blogger - My Daughter!

Submitted by Steve Gray on Fri, 06/19/2009 - 1:49pm.

Since it is close to Father’s Day, my daughter, Bobbie, asked to be a guest blogger. I hope you enjoy some of her memories of growing up with a dad like me:

"As Father’s Day approaches, I wanted to share some things with you about my dad. I know it is a little cheesy to post something mushy on a sentimental holiday, but he is my dad, so please bear with me...

More Time with the Grandkids

Submitted by Steve Gray on Thu, 06/11/2009 - 4:23pm.

Summer is here and that means more time with the grandkids! It is a wonderful thing being a grandparent. It is fun to watch the kids grow up. When you are a kid you can show your weaknesses and your partiality and no one cares. My granddaughter, Allyson, has just caught the concept of fairness. For example, she and I both get allergy shots. We are allergic to everything, the grass, the dirt, the air; we both even have to get allergy shots every week.

A Summer of Revival

May is off to a quick start! Just this month at World Revival Church Academy we have had our Spring Musical. My granddaughter, Brooke and I both turned another year older, although we won’t talk about that. Growing older isn’t a bad thing, it just reminds me that I have to work harder for the kingdom of God to get His message out to the world. Besides, my wife tells me that I am getting better looking in my old age.

Getting Caught Up...

Hello Friends,

I know it has been an number of weeks since I have written anything new. It has just been a very busy time, but I think I am in the swing of things again. Let me bring you up to date. We continue to be broadcast live every Friday night on the Daystar Television Network. You have to admire Marcus and Joni for the stand they are taking for revival in America.

A Note to Pastors

Submitted by Steve Gray on Tue, 03/03/2009 - 12:42pm.

I want to help connect you and your congregation to more of God's power. In just one to three services, a substantial outbreak and increase in God's presence is possible!

As a pastor with more than 30 years in the ministry, I can help coach people to respond and receive what God is offering through scholarly-based revival messages.

Good News All Around

Submitted by Steve Gray on Fri, 02/06/2009 - 11:54am.

There are so many good things happening all at once I don’t know where to begin. Now I know we are all busy people, but how many things are you busy with that at least have the potential to change the world or at least some part of it? How many of you are involved with something that could possibly alter the lives of thousands of people and what they think about God. Believe it or not, that is right where I am.

Viva Las Vegas - NATPE

Submitted by Steve Gray on Fri, 01/30/2009 - 11:29am.

Viva Las Vegas. That’s right, Kathy and I have just returned from a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas. We went to represent The Steve and Kathy Show at the annual NATPE (National Association of Television Producers and Executives) trade show. It will take weeks to really determine if anything will come out of our many conversations with “TV people.” However, I can tell you that The Steve and Kathy Show was the “buzz” at this year’s convention.

Reality Holiday

It was great to hear the crowds cheering as our now president Obama was inaugurated in Washington DC. For an instant, we could dream that we were not facing one of the biggest times of testing that our country has ever seen. The roar of the crowd seemed to say that, “everything is really all right.” The sight of Hollywood stars helped us to forget that our banks are not recovering, the stock market fell again today

Finding Favor

Submitted by Steve Gray on Fri, 01/09/2009 - 4:10am.

I am trying to process all that is going on here with all of the ministries I am involved in. Fortunately, it is all good. Daystar Television network is continuing to air "live" revival services every Friday night through January and also the first Friday in February when Marcus, Joni, and the Daystar singers will all be in service with us. Also coming up this month is the big TV convention in Las Vegas where producers search for the up and coming new TV shows. The Steve and Kathy show will be right there front and center. I have no idea what kind of reception we will have. I hope we
