Hello Friends,
Is it the most wonderful time of the year?
Well, of course it is, but so is every other time of the year, at least for me. Today we may celebrate that Jesus is born but the rest of the year I celebrate that Jesus is Lord. When Jesus is Lord, the entire year is wonderful.

Hello friends,
Well, it has been an interesting week. Kathy and I flew to Tampa to be interviewed on the CTN TV network and that went really well. It was shocking to be in 86 degree weather and land in KC with 6 degree weather, but that is part of the joy of traveling right? We also heard about a young junior college age kid writing letters to try and make a big splash for himself by saying the revival in KC is fake. What he actually said was that all of you attending were fake.

All of us here have revival on our minds as we continue to get reports on the live broadcast from the Daystar Network last Friday night. One Daystar employee called the program "addictive" and said she can't wait to see what happens this Friday night. I can't wait to see for myself because I really never know exactly what the services will be like. There are so many variables to take into consideration.

I have spent most all of my time as a minister trying to bring revival to God’s people. This Friday night, December 5, 2008 will be a night of increase for that message. The Daystar Television Network will be airing 90 minutes of the revival service from World Revival Church “live” across this nation and around the world. It will be re-broadcast again at 12:00 midnight. They have also requested the tapes from the Thursday, Saturday and Sunday morning services.

I hope you all are having a happy holiday weekend with family and friends. We tried to have a quiet Thanksgiving day but it was virtually impossible. God’s kingdom doesn’t take a holiday. Now before you give me the “you need to take some “me” time speech,” let me tell you why there was no slowing down this year. We are extremely thankful that we will be hosting the Daystar Network at World Revival Church of Kansas City

Here is the latest news on the average middle aged man in America. My retirement is gone, eaten up by the stock market based mostly on the credit crises which I did not participate in. I paid my bills on time no matter what, never missed a payment on anything. I contributed to my retirement fund thousands (many thousands of dollars) and now it is worthless.

Hello Friends,
Well, I just finished a radio interview out of Detroit. I think I did average. Here is the reason why, at least I think. I have been so successful with the non-religious world by not coming across as a know-it-all fire breathing preacher, that I forgot that this Christian program wants a ranting pastor.

Well, the election is over and I am not sure what kind of leader our new president will be, but there is one thing I do know for sure, he is a celebrity. In fact, it is clear that he is more of a celebrity than a politician. Change is the new word. I only wish that American’s would call for as much change in religion as they have in politics. That “old time religion” has a much greater grip on society than any of our politicians or political parties.

Well, it has been a big day. I want to start off by thanking all of you that helped the ministry by purchasing "My Absurd Religion," on Amazon.com. I also want to thank all of you that caught me on the 700 club. And last I
want to thank all of those at CBN/700 club who make Kathy and I feel so welcome and so much at home.

Talk about being busy. The new book “My Absurd Religion” will launch next week while I am on the 700 club October 28th. That means the website myabsurdreligion.com has to be ready to launch too and be able to handle the hopefully many, many orders that come in that day through Amazon.com. Plus, I have been writing the next four Steve and Kathy Shows which we shoot this week.
